He Mocks and She Mocks

December 6, 2010 by Nina Lindsay   Leave a Comment

Jonathan and I will be leading the Heavy Medal Mock Newbery this coming Sunday December 12 in Oakland, and can’t wait to share the results with you!  A couple dozen of us will break into two groups, and so there may be two sets of results.  (If you’ve read all the books and are thinking of coming, but haven’t RSVPed yet, now’s your last chance!).

Wendy Burton of Six Boxes of Books is interested in running a parallel Mock Newbery to ours, online.  If you’ve read all 8 shortlisted books and would be interested in a couple of hours online on this Saturday December 11th, email her.  (Or, she says, feel free to propose a different date). You all could scoop us if you get it together!

And finally, following our results from the weekend, Jonathan and I will reveal our grand scheme for a final round of voting …involving an addendum to the  shortlist.
