Oh boy, this is the signal that it begins; the reading, the arguing, the silent screaming and all the fun and passion that makes my world go round.

I feel a little ridiculous and quite dorky about the fact that I feel like a kid on Christmas Eve tonight – but I’m really quite giddy to think that Newbery season unofficially opens tomorrow with the return of this blog! Whee!

I look forward to the lively debate yet will stand by the Newbery committee members knowing that they will consider every book that this blog and its readers can think of and then some. And they will consider all genres and will have a fabulous time finding their winner and honorees.
Along with Marianne, I look forward to fully participating this year!
    Let the good times roll!
