Don’t forget that you can watch the announcements live tomorrow morning. I’ll be putting up a very brief post as it goes, and publish right away so we all can start commenting.

Can’t wait and can’t even predict this time around.

Waking, early, I had fitfull dreaming all night long about the announcements, which in my dream happened at the place I had dinner last night. There was a musical revue intro before the live presentation….and in my dream, the Newbery winners included two from our list of winners, but WHICH two were vague, and they kept changing throughout the dream, and sometimes seemed like winners from a previous year, And the Caldecott winner and three honor books were all ones no one had ever heard of before. There was a huge crush for the elevators so I could never quite leave after it was all over, and the space began to transition for their next act, which included ice skaters who didn’t know the Newbery or Caldecott, but were sweetly interested in why we so dressed up, cleary wanted us to leave but were too polite and gave us a lesson, on a whiteboard, about why the earth’s surface is always moving faster than its core.

Here’s to the committee members, gathering now to make their phone calls to their winners.

Can’t seem to find the place to watch it live – anyone have the link?

All I see at the link Nina has above is the promo video for Midwinter. I must be looking in the wrong place.
