Oakland Mock Newbery

evite

Hi everyone!  I’m excited to announce that we have a date, time and location for the Oakland in-person Mock Newbery.  It will be on Sunday, January 15th at the Rockridge Branch of the Oakland Public Library.  We’ll meet from 12:30 until 5pm with discussion starting promptly at 1pm.  An Evite has been sent to past participants.  If you are new and interested in joining us, let me know and I’ll add you to the Evite.

I look very forward to a rousing discussion about these titles and can’t wait to share our results with the wider Heavy Medal community.

Much thanks, also, to ACL for their help with hosting.

Yay! After much thought, I have decided not to host a similar San Diego event this year, but would instead like to put a bigger emphasis on the online counterpart that we have done in conjunction with our face-to-face versions.
