I had assumed They Say Blue would be eligible, because Tamaki had been eligible for the Caldecott. A recent post on Jen J.’s Booksheets calls this into question, as it seems Tamaki currently lives Toronto (and was born in Canada.)

Calling Caldecott posted today that they believe she has dual citizenship and would still be eligible.

Excellent! I could not find anything online about dual citizenship with my internet searching beyond the one reference on Wikipedia so I am glad the Calling Caldecott folks were able to confirm They Say Blue and Tamaki are eligible.
