2020 Heavy Medal Mock Newbery Award Finalists… almost: we need your input!

We released a partial Heavy Medal Award discussion titles list in late November. With the final round of nomination, we now have a firm top 13. All but The Toll and Torpedoed received 8 or more nominations. Given that both were already on our early published list and with 4 and 7 nominations each — they both remain viable choices.
We are hoping to have a 15-title discussion list in January but couldn’t decide which two titles to add. So, here you all come in: please vote using this form (no longer live, 12/17, 10:10 p.m.) to choose from the following two sets of titles. Poll starts as this post goes live and will close at 10:00 p.m. EST on Tuesday, 12/16.

We will post the final finalists list (don’t you love the sound of this) on Wednesday. Would also love to have many Heavy Medal readers volunteer to be on our Heavy Medal Award Committee. It will be chaired by Steven this year.
The titles to be considered are listed below: we would like one more middle grade novel (each with 7 nominations) and one heavily illustrated title. (Edited, 12/17, 10:10 p.m. Poll is closed.)

I’m happy Torpedoed made it. I didn’t think to check in for a week or so and missed the final nominations. Torpedoed would have been one of mine.
