Guest Blogger Schedule

Earlier in the month I mentioned that some of this year’s books will be introduced by Guest Bloggers on Heavy Medal. Almost immediately, more than a dozen brave souls volunteered! So for the next couple months we’ll have at least one post per week by a Guest Blogger. Each of them will examine a single book. Meanwhile, I’ll continue to introduce other titles, usually two or three at a time, on one or two other days each week. I don’t have a fixed schedule for the books I’ll write about…but the Guest Bloggers do. Here the full list, with dates included, so Heavy Medal readers can be ready to join the lively discussions that will follow each post:
FROM THE DESK OF ZOE WASHINGTON | Friday, September 25 |
WHEN YOU TRAP A TIGER | Friday, October 2 |
KING AND THE DRAGONFLIES | Friday, October 9 |
KENT STATE | Monday, October 12 |
SNAPDRAGON | Friday, October 16 |
A MANY FEATHERED THING | Friday, October 23 |
PRAIRIE LOTUS | Friday, October 30 |
SHOW ME A SIGN | Friday, November 6 |
A GAME OF FOX AND SQUIRRELS | Monday, November 9 |

The first Guest Blogger post is this Friday; I’ll have a separate one coming out Wednesday this week as well. Thanks again to all of the readers who volunteered!
