November Nomination Results: Forty five potential Mock Newbery titles
The quest to find the 2025 Heavy Medal Mock Newbery winner continues as the second round of nominations closed last Saturday. Eleven new titles were nominated for a total of 45 Mock Newbery potentials. THE TENTH MISTAKE OF HANK HOOPERMAN leads the way, closely followed by LOUDER THAN HUNGER and OLIVETTI. I was pleasantly surprised with a few of the statistics including:
- OLIVETTI and THE WRONG WAY HOME led the way with six nominations each.
- Twelve new titles were nominated including three nominations for QUAGMIRE TIARELLO COULDN’T BE BETTER and ACROSS SO MANY SEAS.
- The highly anticipated THE BLETCHLEY RIDDLE, only received one nomination.

So are the columns:
Title, author, total noms, October noms, November noms, December noms? I’m just trying to figure out what all the numbers actually mean.
Thanks.

What do the asterisks mean? (Also, I wonder if not many people have read The Bletchley Riddle yet…) Thank you!
