Can anyone tell me if Orange for the Sunsets by Tina Athaide is eligible? The author was born in Uganda, lived in the U.K. and Canada and now lives in the U.S. I haven’t seen it on any Newbery lists which surprises me.

Just stopped by to see what everyone is talking about, and I’m surprised to see no nominations for ALL THE GREYS ON GREENE STREET. We are holding our bookclub on in in a couple of hours. I found the writing beautiful, but 3 weeks after reading it, I’m struggling to remember much of it.
Looking for a gripping title for September. Any suggestions?
