It’s the Final Suggestions
The fun begins NEXT WEEK when we launch our 2023 Mock Newbery discussion on Heavy Medal. Now, we need to finish up our reading list by asking for our final five suggestions of possible contenders.
Please still keep to five suggestions and only books that have already been published. No worries, we still have nominations in October, November and December- so we can still talk about new books! The official committee continues suggestions to the end of the year, but that gets a bit too complicated for our blog.

More information about how suggestions work can be found on this post from earlier this year. You can check this post for the list of suggestions so far; it’s fine to suggest titles that are already on the list.
We invite all readers to submit your September suggestions as well between now and Saturday, September 3rd. We’ll share the updated list on Monday, September 5th.
