Favorites are showing: Heavy Medal’s Halfway List





Thanks to all who suggested possible Newbery 2024 titles this month! It includes 59 titles with only four making their first appearance (much less than last months 17).
SIMON SORT OF SAYS has even further secured its lead with 12 suggestions, with THE LABORS OF HERCULES BEAL gaining steam with a total of five. But, we’re only halfway through the year, so who knows what can happen…

The Probablilty of Everything by Sarah Everett would be a great addition to this list! The twist ending and the story made me cry!
Sarah Everett lives in Alberta, Canada so does not qualify for a Newbery, but I agree the book THE PROBABILITY OF EVERYTHING is an awesome book.
I guess I really need to try Simon Sort of Says. I picked it up, started it, and wasn’t feeling it…..
