With the 2020 Newbery Medal announcement still seven months away, readers of the Heavy Medal Mock Newbery blog continue to build a list of titles that might be possible contenders. The monthly call for Suggestions is open from June 5 - 12.
With one third of the year completed, Heavy Medal readers have identified 42 titles as "suggestions" for possible Newbery consideration. Here's the updated ranked list.
